The unsharpened option is ideal for display, practice, or collectors who prioritize safety, while the sharpened version is crafted to a functional cutting edge for those who intend to use the sword.

Absolutely. Every sword is crafted entirely by hand by our skilled swordsmiths — from the initial forging of the steel to the final assembly of the handle, guard, and scabbard. No CNC machines or mass-production shortcuts are used at any stage. Each piece is therefore unique, and minor natural variations in the grain, hamon (temper line), or finish are a mark of authentic craftsmanship, not a defect.

Custom orders typically take approximately 7 business days to complete from the moment your order is confirmed. This includes forging, heat treatment, polishing, and full assembly. Once your sword ships, delivery times depend on your location and chosen shipping method. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

Yes — simply enter the text you wish to engrave in the engraving field during checkout. Please write it exactly as you want it to appear on the blade: correct spelling, desired characters (Latin or Japanese/kanji), and proper spacing. Do not include notes or descriptions in parentheses — only the final text to be engraved. We will reproduce it precisely as submitted, so double-check before placing your order.

Battle Ready refers to a sword that is built to withstand actual use — not just display. A battle-ready katana features a full tang construction, meaning the steel of the blade extends continuously through the entire length of the handle, providing maximum strength and preventing the blade from detaching under stress. It is also made from genuine high-carbon steel (typically 1045–1095 or T10), sharpened to a functional edge, and assembled with tightly fitted, non-decorative components. In short, it is a real, functional weapon — not a replica.
